Our "pop-up" campsite in 2021 proved popular with our guests, and for 2022 we are looking to add a couple of shepherd huts for those that want a little more luxury. Planning and licensing requirements are being progressed in preparation for the 2022 season with added facilities, including additional toilets, showers and washing up facilities.
Campers will be able to pitch their tents amongst the trees in the orchard, or in the open paddock behind. Peaceful and picturesque "boutique camping" for those looking for something a little different.
Bookings can be made through our partners at Pitchup.com once planning permission and licenses are in place.
On site we have a large childrens play area, horse riding arena (doubles as 5-a-side football pitch), and several acres of meadow with footpaths all around. Beyond our
site there is a network of both private and public tracks and trails that cover this area so you can leave your car here and walk for hours through beautiful countryside. Roads are quiet and ideal
for cycling or strolling.
Obviously being in the country there is a wealth of fauna and flora on the doorstep. Birdwatchers flock (excuse the pun) to East Anglia for the varied species of feathered friend on show. At Whitehouse Farm we have numerous resident common, and not so common, birds such as woodpeckers, various species of owl, and birds of prey who visit regularly. The wildlife includes deer, muntjack, hares, and bats amongst others.
