Activities & Specialist Breaks

Whitehouse Farm is surrounded by agricultural land, just off a designated “Quiet Lane”, with miles of seldom used roads, footpaths, tracks and trails. Ideal for walkers, runners and cyclists. We have numerous routes for runners and cyclists of varying lengths that can be shared with you.

On site we have a 1km exercise trail around the perimeter of the property for those who want to do a little cross/circuit type training or just easily keep track of their run or walk distances. The Horse Pond, as it was originally known, is our swim training spot with a 2 lane, 25m length, which is ideal to practice your swim technique as well as having that open water feel, but in a more controlled environment. Alternatively just enjoy the pond life with a little time on the decking, or a turn in the row boat.

Our latest addition to the site is the “Sauna on the Pond”, a great place to relax after a strenuous (or not so strenuous) day, which can be comfortably enjoyed by up to 6 people, from 6pm every evening, or at other times by special request.

"White House Farm is pure bliss!
We received a warm welcome from Rob when we arrived, and while walking around the grounds he took the time to stop and have a chat.
Our party consisted of 2 adults 2 children and a happy lil staffy, who made friends with the other children on site. It’s the perfect place for the first time campers and to take the children. Children have the freedom to explore in a safe environment, it is practically enclosed.

The facilities are amazing, hot clean showers and toilets and washing up facilities, everything has been thoroughly thought out to make your stay here as comfortable as possibly. The communal firepit was bonus and wood sold onsite is at a very reasonable price, they also have a BBQ for guests use. The pitches we stayed on were flat and surrounded by wild flowers. The wildlife noises at night, glorious. We will definitely be coming back! We didn’t get a chance to use the sauna, it’s on our bucket list, not sure about the cold swim after though. Thank you for a great welcoming stay."
