Camping in Suffolk

Camping

On site we have a large children’s play area, large pond, and several acres of meadow with footpaths all around. Beyond our site there is a network of both private and public tracks and trails that cover this area so you can leave your car here and walk for hours through beautiful countryside. Roads are quiet and ideal for cycling or strolling.

We have a large communal fire pit and separate bbq for those sociable evenings toasting marshmallows, stargazing and making friends, but you’re welcome to have your own fire pits and bbq’s too. You can either bring your own logs, or we sell them on site to make life that little bit easier.

Obviously being in the country there is a wealth of fauna and flora on the doorstep. Birdwatchers flock (excuse the pun) to East Anglia for the varied species of feathered friend on show. At Whitehouse Farm we have numerous resident common, and not so common, birds such as woodpeckers, various species of owl, and birds of prey who visit regularly. The wildlife includes deer, muntjack, hares, and bats amongst others.

What People Say?

"White House Farm is pure bliss!
We received a warm welcome from Rob when we arrived, and while walking around the grounds he took the time to stop and have a chat.
Our party consisted of 2 adults 2 children and a happy lil staffy, who made friends with the other children on site. It’s the perfect place for the first time campers and to take the children. Children have the freedom to explore in a safe environment, it is practically enclosed.

The facilities are amazing, hot clean showers and toilets and washing up facilities, everything has been thoroughly thought out to make your stay here as comfortable as possibly. The communal firepit was bonus and wood sold onsite is at a very reasonable price, they also have a BBQ for guests use. The pitches we stayed on were flat and surrounded by wild flowers. The wildlife noises at night, glorious. We will definitely be coming back! We didn’t get a chance to use the sauna, it’s on our bucket list, not sure about the cold swim after though. Thank you for a great welcoming stay."
